Good evening everyone!
Sorry for the late post, been a busy Monday.
Straight to the goal; this week progress!

Added cheat code for the gallery (goal achieved)
Setup the discord server (goal achieved)
Added a battle music for the 2nd dungeon
Added another button to the controls, but keyboard-wise and mouse-wise (btw, it's "shift")
Fixed a few bugs in the gallery (but there's 1 that we can't quite find the source of!!!!! )
Revamped the cheats so there are not a ton, but just a few (2 atm)

Goals for next week:

Completely finish the first 2 dungeons
Add a way so players see the boss reward correctly
Alpha 0.0.3 released for patrons!!

Happy monday one and all!
We're really excited! With the updates done this week, the game is really taking form and all the subsystems are ready-ish.
Progress this week:

Revamped the spell equipment system (goal achieved)
Added a way that spells can affect all enemies (explosion works as intended)
Cheats added for the main game mode (goal partially achieved)
Adjusted some animations so they fit better in the gallery

Goals for next week:

Add cheats for the gallery section of the game
Setup the discord server

And probably some other bug-fixes/little improvements in the code.

Happy monday everyone!
Progress as usual this week, although a bit slow since it's been a busy week with the return to work. We honestly can't believe it's been only 7 weeks since the first alpha release. The game grew and changed so much already!
Progress made this week:

Gallery is technically done but it's still ugly, so it'll some more work. But at least it's functional (goal not really achieved :( )
-Spell equipment system is done, but I just had an illumination last night, so we'll redo it so it's way more convenient (goal still achieved!)
-The last monster for the second dungeon has been added to the game.
-Corrected some spelling mistakes.
-Significantly lowered the cost of lvl ups.

Goals for next week:

-Redo the spell equipment system.
-Add cheats.
-Learn how to setup a good discord server.

Happy Monday everyone!

This week has seen the public release of the second alpha of MMD. Because of that, the schedule changed a bit.

Progress this week:

Created the base framework for the gallery (goal not really achieved)
BUT
The casting system was redone from the ground up (see attached video), including the moue gameplay
The portal room was adjusted with the new casting system, you won't see any change, but there has been some code wise.
The runes were recolored
The Portal Codex entries were adjusted so that the arrows don't appear off screen.
Fixed a bug that crashed the game after completing the second dungeon.

Goals for next week:

Finish the gallery
Implement the equipment system for the spells

Hello everyone! Hope you all had a nice Christmas. This post has a lot to say, so we'll try to keep it short.
First things first: this week's recap!

-Added an interaction with Fae when you first enter the dungeons and when you clear them (goal achieved). -Tweaked the existing dialogues so they fit more in the setting (goal achieved).
-Implemented the framework to add more interactions faster with Fae in the future. -Reworked the way you gain access to new dungeons.
-Fixed a bug where the game crashed if you got attacked while you were teleporting away.


Goals for next week: -Begin to work on the gallery


Second things second: We reworked the tiers and goals a bit so they reflect reality in a better way.


And finally: our goals for 2019. 2018 has been great all things considered, MMD being one of the nice things that happened. It may not look like it, but the development of the game started on October 1st. It has just been 3 months since the very beginning and MMD is rapidly taking form. Our main goal in 2019 is to finish MMD and to become big enough that the game can support itself.

Good news everyone! This week, unlike last week, was great! Mostly, version 0.0.2 was finished and polished. It will be available for non patrons in early January. Precisely, this week progress includes:

-Finished the tutorial. While being a lot clearer, the tutorial is still light, non-invading and experienced gamers can ignore it. It is definitively not a hold-your-hand experience. (goal accomplished)
-Added a new dungeon in game with the new alternative versions of our existing monsters (goal surpassed)
-Fae entered the fray!
-A short "cutscene" will greet you at the start of the game to provide a bit of backstory. More will be added over time.
-Game is now ready for 0.0.2 release!

Goals for next week:
The next two weeks will be a bit lighter on updates because of the holiday season, but we still want to keep up the pace!
-Add more story elements to the game
-Polish existing story elements

We wish you all a merry Christmas!

Hello everyone and welcome to the first edition of Weekly Update! The show that replaces "weekly poRgres"! This week, we are proud to announce:

-The game is now playable with the mouse only, if wanted (goal achieved and surpassed!)
-Clearer indications regarding the fundamentals of the game were added (but not quite a tutorial yet) (goal achieved)
-The Imp animations were slightly reworked
-The hentai scenes are now initiated on a monster-basis rather than on a player-basis.
-The monster girls clearly indicate when they will start a hentai scene
-A new, and far easier, casting mechanism has been added to the game
-The buff/debuff system is now implemented and working
-New animations were gathered for future spells
-We found out why the slime was waiting on her knees in the dungeon. She has developed... a taste...

Plans for next week:
-Add new spells for the player (mostly  buffs and debuffs spells)
-Implement the spell buying system in the bedroom
-Continue to develop the tutorial

 

As you can see last week has been productive, hope this one can be as much.
